Commitment and Dedication Pay Off for Seasoned Horizon Forest Employee
RALEIGH, NC, April 23, 2019 – Horizon Forest Products is pleased to announce the promotion of Travis Strickland to Inside Sales Team Member at our Raleigh Flooring Branch. With his 14 years of wood flooring knowledge, Strickland was an obvious choice for this new sales role. He offers the Inside Sales Team a fresh perspective and an eager attitude that promises to bring about success for the Raleigh Branch.
“We are excited to have Travis joining our Inside Sales Team here,” said Chris Williams, Raleigh Branch Manager of Horizon Forest Products. “He has been with Horizon for over a decade and has gained all the tools necessary to succeed in this new role. In his previous role as Operations Manager, Travis was a key component to our growth over the years and has grown relationships with so many of our customers.”
Prior to his promotion, Strickland worked as a Delivery Driver for Horizon Forest Products for four years and then as a Warehouse Team Member for another four years. Once proving his expertise in the warehouse, he advanced to Operations Manager position for six years. Strickland’s commitment and dedication to Horizon Forest Products has never gone unnoticed. Over the last 14 years here, he has been gaining valuable insight and building meaningful relationships with our customers and vendors that are sure to bring an impact to the Raleigh Inside Sales Team.
“I am excited for this opportunity to grow and learn even more here,” said Strickland. “I believe my prior experience here will not only help me in this new role but also help the branch by providing a different perspective.
