We are looking to add a developer to our Marketing Team, who will be to “go-to” person that manages our priporitery, custom built e-commerce API.   You would work with the team to balance user experience and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and shaping how applications look as well as defining how it will function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade our e-commerce API
  • Manage security and upkeep of our website
  • Compile and analyze data, process code to identify problems and pinpoint areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience
  • Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean code
  • Use scripting, management tools, content creation tools, applications and digital media

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience with backend development
  • Advance knowledge of PHP and MySQL
  • Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML and CSS
  • Experience in SEO and CMS framework
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • In depth understanding of web development
  • Critical thinker and problem solving skills
  • JSON knowledge is a plus
Raleigh, NC - Delivery Driver Team Member

We are searching for a qualified, dependable individual to join our delivery team.  In this role you will be responsible for loading goods from the warehouse into your truck, transporting the load to the customer location, and unloading the shipment when you arrive.  Our drivers must always drive safely and be professional and courteous when talking to our customers.

Valid Class B commercial driver’s license a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform a daily pre-trip inspections of the truck, alerting the Ops Manager to maintenance, damage, or mechanical issues
  • Once at the site unload the order in accordance with the customers’ needs and the safety protocols of HFP. Hand loading will be mostly required with job site deliveries.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct and the customer is satisfied
  • Safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds repetitively
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
  • Maintain current drivers and forklift certifications, follow all HFP safety protocols
  • Return paperwork, including payments, to the Ops Manager
  • Abiding by all transportation laws, maintain  safe driving record
  • Maintain log books and other documentation as set forth by the DOT and HFP

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Richmond, VA - Inventory Assistant

We are looking for a candidate who has an exceptional attention to detail and can thrive in a computer centered work environment.  This entry-level position will work closely with the Inventory Manager on processes as they relate to a multi-branch, wholesale distribution company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all new product setups in Bistrack
  • Assists to maintain appropriate stock levels for all locations
  • Assists with all aspects of companywide dead inventory reduction efforts
  • Coordinate and track sample and display boards
  • Reconcile customer consignment programs on a monthly basis
  • Maintain log of all records
  • Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
