Raleigh, North Carolina, October 16, 2017 – In partnership with T&T Creative and other local businesses, Horizon Forest Products is one of several sponsors that will support the annual golf tournament to benefit Stop Soldier Suicide.
Stop Soldier Suicide, the nation’s first veteran-founded nonprofit focused on preventing military suicide. On average, 22 veterans and active duty service members are lost to suicide every day. Hundreds of thousands more struggle with a variety of mental and physical challenges. This crisis impacts military from every generation and throughout all branches of service, as well as their family members. Stop Soldier Suicide is dedicated to providing free resources and support to military members and their families to mitigate suicide risk factors, promote resilience, inspire hope, encourage healing, and promote personal growth.
As a sponsor for this event, Horizon Forest Products will be a sponsor and participate in the tournament. “We are delighted to partner with T&T Creative to help raise money for Stop Soldier Suicide,” said Holly Williams, Marketing Team Leader at Horizon Forest Products.
The tournament will take place on November 4, 2017, at the Neuse Golf Club in Clayton, North Carolina. Lunch will be served at 11AM, followed by tee off at 12PM. Award-winning Food Network chef Troy Dye will be on site for a BBQ at 4:30PM. There will be an award ceremony, as well as a raffle with prizes. The cost is $75 per player and sponsorships are also available. All proceeds from the tournament will go directly to Stop Soldier Suicide.
