LAUREL, MD, March 31, 2020 – Horizon Forest Products has relocated their Beltsville Branch from Tucker Street to its new home in the Baltimore-Washington area at 9327 Washington Drive, Suite J in Laurel, MD.

“We are very excited about our move from our facility in Beltsville, MD to a much larger building in Laurel MD,” said David Williams, Vice President of Horizon Forest Products. “The new space will allow us to expand our inventory presence and product offerings for the Baltimore and Washington DC markets. This has been a good market for us for a long time and we are looking forward to continued success there.”

With this relocation, the Baltimore-Washington Branch will almost double the amount of inventory square footage. This increase from a 36,000 square foot warehouse to 60,000 square foot warehouse will allow the branch to keep up with the demands and better organize the inventory available to their customers.

“We are extremely excited about our move to a significantly larger location,” said Ed Shaffer, Baltimore- Washington Branch Manager. “By almost doubling the size of our warehouse, we will be able to store more product for our customers in a more efficient manner.  This will allow us to provide the best service to our customers.  In addition, we have a beautiful new showroom to present our product offerings.  Our goal is to find ways to better serve our customers and this new location will allow us to accomplish that goal.  We can’t wait for our customers to visit us and see our new and improved home in Laurel, MD!”

Stop by our new branch location and let us give you a tour of our new space! We want to show you all the well-known brands we carry and the high-quality products you’ve come to expect from Horizon Forest Products through the years!

Hello, Contacting you from Elegant Floor Services about an order that I placed on Thursday, 12/2, that required a transfer, not sure from where. I placed the order via email after going back and forth w/ Eli Villanueva at 1:18 on Thursday, 12/2. I was given assurance that the material would transfer on Monday and be delivered to the jobsite on Tuesday. After a busy day Friday, I checked to see if our office had received confirmation on the order, then followed up w/ Eli. I was told at ~3:30 on Friday that the order could not transfer on Monday because the xfer truck is over-weight. I don’t know if that’s the case or if someone dropped the ball but now I’m in a bind. I’ve got manpower scheduled to install this material starting Tuesday and I’m being told another truck will arrive on Thursday w/ my material. That’ll make for a very unhappy customer and put 2 or 3 or our men out of work for most of the week. So I’m asking you to consider any/all exceptions/contingency that can get this material back on the Monday transfer. Perhaps not all the material on the xfer is needed as urgently????
