Raleigh, North Carolina, August 14, 2017 – After 20 years of dedicated service, Horizon Forest Products has announced that Carl Bahn will be retiring from his position as Branch Manager at the Raleigh location. Bahn has led the Raleigh branch with great success over the past nine years. He was the company’s Branch Manager of the Year a total of 6 times.
“Carl has been one our most respected leaders and we are sad to see him go,” said David Williams, Vice President at Horizon Forest Products. “He has been one of our most dedicated employees who set the standard in the company.”
Bahn joined Horizon Forest Products in 1998 and has held a number of key roles of increasing importance. He was promoted to Cabinet Branch Manager in 2002 then moved to the Raleigh Flooring Branch in 2008.
“I’m thankful to the people I’ve had the privilege of working with during my career,” said Bahn. “I look forward to seeing Horizon Forest Products grow under new leadership. I know that the company will continue to remain focused on doing what’s best for our customers and employees.
Prior to joining Horizon Forest Products, Bahn served as Distribution Manager for a children’s clothing manufacturer. He attended York County Vocational-Technical School where he earned a degree in Auto Body Repair and Mechanics.
