	Belts Belts are used in most modern sanding machines. The belt is held together by a thin yet extremly strong kevlar tape in an either straight or finger type of joint. The choice of grit quality and backing is guided by the sanding requirements. 	Screens Screens are used to prepare and condition the surface prior to coating. They are also used when cutting back the grain raise once the finish has been applied. Screens are durable and rather aggressive making them perfect to use when preparing an old, previously finished floor that is to be overcoated.

	Conditioning Pads Pads are mainly used with buffing machines for the cleaning and oil treatment of wooden floors or functioning as an underlay for screens, cloths and rags. The color of the pad tells how aggressive it is depending on the amount of abrasive content: White and Tan 0%, Red 10%, Green 35%, Brown 40% and Black 50%. Colors and purpose of use: White - buffing oil, underlay Tan - coarser buffing, cleaning Red - cleaning, oil application Green - coarse cleaning Brown - extremely fine sanding Black - fine sanding

	SIAFAST Edger Discs The SIAFAST system is the modern, quick-change edger disc system. Discs have a Velcro®-like (hook and loop) fastening system. With the Conversion Disc mounted on your edger disc pad, discs press into place and peel to remove in just seconds. Quick-changing discs save time and money. Cooler sanding means less clogging - discs last longer.
